दिवा ब्यूरो ,नई दिल्ली। आखिर वहीं हुआ जिसका अंदेशा पहले से ही था। बनारस में कांग्रेस ने अजय राय को उम्मीदवार ऐलान कर दिया। इस घोषणा में ऐसी कोई हैरान होने वाली बात नहीं थी , जिसका ढिंढोरा कांग्रेस लगातार एक महीने से पिट रही थी। यह तो वही हाल हुआ कि खोदा पहाड़ और निकली चुहिया। दरअसल चुहिया की सच्चाई की कहानी कुछ और ही है। बनारस ही नहीं पूरे यूपी में सभी प्रमुख दलों के बीच आपसी सहमति इस कदर बनी है कि तुमको हम न हराएंगे, तुम हमको न हराओ। यानी न तुम हारे न हम जीते। हां अगर अपवाद है तो राजनीति में नई आयी पार्टी “ आप ” जिसने अपने विपक्षियों के खिलाफ अपने दिग्गज उम्मीदवारों को उतारा है।

कांग्रेस प्रथम परिवार के लिए हमेशा से सुरक्षित गढ़ के रूप में देखा जाने वाला संसदीय क्षेत्र अमेठी कहीं 2014 के चुनावों में गले की फांस न बन जाए। पार्टी उपाध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने 2004 और उसके बाद 2009 के लोकसभा चुनावों में वहां अपनी जीत का परचम अच्छे अंतर से दर्ज कराया था। कांग्रेस के तमाम प्रवक्ता इस बार भी वहां के वोटरों से इसी तरह की जीत की उम्मीद राहुल गांधी के लिए कर रहे हैं। परंतु वहां की जमीनी हकीकत और दिल्ली से देखी जाने वाली तस्वीर में काफी अंतर है।

पहले ही आम आदमी पार्टी ने अपना एक कद्दावर नेता उनके खिलाफ अमेठी में भेज दिया है जो 150 किलोमीटर क्षेत्र में फैले चुनावी क्षेत्र में पिछले चार महीने से डेरा डाले हुए है। अबकी बार दिल्ली में सत्ता में पहुंच का दावा करने वाली भाजपा ने भी अपना टीवी का एक लोकप्रिय सास बहु वाला चेहरा मैदान में उतार दिया है। गुजरात से राज्य सभा सांसद स्मति ईरानी हालांकि इससे पूर्व भी दिल्ली में कांग्रेसी दिग्गज कपिल सिब्बल के सामने हाथ अजमा चुकी हैं पर तब वो राजनीति में नई-नई आयीं थी और अब वो राजनीति की एक मंजी खिलाड़ी बन गई हैं। एक अच्छी प्रवक्ता के रूप में वो टीवी चैनलो में पार्टी की ओर से राजनीति के मंजे विरोधियों से टक्कर लेती हैं। सबसे महत्वपूर्ण अपनी बात या पार्टी का पक्ष रखने में वो कंजूसी नहीं करतीं।

Political Tourism

At the time when India is going to face a new challenging Lok sabha election, many leaders had crossed political line and political ideology to join other party. It is strange that for the shake of their political gain and greener pasture leaders have left their political thinking line. Surveys: how fair they are?

Questions are being raised on banning of pre poll surveys after expose of fudging the data in favour of any party in lieu of bribe. But is banning survey would this problem. Will it remove the other malpractices employed by political parties to win the elections? Corruption is so rampant in our society that banning surveys alone would not yield fair election. When large section of voters are happy to vote a candidate or party just by receiving few freebies like booze and few hundred rupees before the Election Day how one could expect that mere ban would bring honest and clean MLA/ MPs to assemblies/ parliament..

Now a day winning an Election is not as simple as in the days of Maurya and
Gupta’s period where genesis of Panchayti Raj system (or democracy) could be traced.
Shrewd politician have evolved a new management science for winning elections. It encompasses all types of propaganda, freebies, goons and even buying of pre/post poll alliance partner party or independent MLA/MPs. These all requires a lot of money so they indulged in corrupt practices after getting victory or say even to fight elections.  Favourable Surveys play only a small part in this newly developed Indian science.

Most importantly, surveys were always not proved correct even if we take expose of sting operation correct and presume that some agency had fudged the data in favour of any particular party. Just see back in your memory lane and try to recall results shown by media houses and various pollster agencies few months back. Baring one or two no one was nearing the number which Aam Aadmi Party had achieved in Delhi assembly election. However in other stats, results shown by them came nearly true. Simply survey methodologies used by Indian pollsters are not up to mark which could predict the correct outcome in results of elections. Surveys only create ripples in the poll river which could be turned into a wave and them into storms by electorates. I agree with those who are advocating ban that these fudged survey blow wind in favour of winning or upper hand parties among voters but with riders. Surely wind swing some confused voters towards parties which were painted as upper hand in survey results but these voters are very meager.

In conclusion, banning of surveys is not justifiable because of some bad fish. In democracy pondering on political parties, candidate and their performance is a must. It gives impetus to democracy. Instead of banning of surveys we could consider to set a regulator body under the aegis of Election Commission which consists of experts from the field. Expert could visit and revisit to the results published by media houses and poll survey agencies to verify the veracity of results and to find out any mal practices and collusions between the political parties, media houses and agency. Indeed with a provisions of sever punishment for the errant parties.

New buzz: Astrologer’s prediction

Has Congress accepted defeat without fighting general election?

I have heard a new buzz few days ago in the corridors of Congress.  few top leaders of Congress party have shown the birth chart of Narendra Modi to a prominent astrologer. Astrologer has predicted a ten years rule of Modi in New Delhi.

Why I am writing this buzz here? Because general election is only a number of days ahead and strangely war room of Congress party have yet not started functioning. What it means to pollsters? Clearly they do not see it as a good omen for a party which has ruled Raisina Hill last ten years.  Surprisingly coordinator and last time in-charge of war room Jairam Ramesh is still holding charge of Rural Development ministry as cabinet minister while in 2009 he had resigned immediately after February session.

Why Congress is showing apathetic attitude this time to coming general election internally? Has it presumed the imminent drubbing in 2014 general election after the rout it had faced in last year held assembly elections. This bizarre attitude of party could be understood more clearly if we could glance towards the recent developments in party.

One close aide of two prominent leaders of party has quieted his researcher’s job recently. Many more people associated with leaders are exploring their options. This all is happening when party is facing one of the toughest challenges in recent years posed by BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

Last year in December I was told about state of affairs in war room by one of my source, which I think deserve to mention here. Team closely associated with Rahul Gandhi does not give due weights to findings of Gurudwara Rakab Ganj (GRG) office this time. GRG is an important war room office of Congress especially in election times. Instead of using input provided by GRG Rahul normally uses input provided by his own time I am told.

A new associate, Mohan Gopal has come this time close to Gandhi scion who works from a palatial office of Jawahar lal Bhawan situated in front of Shastri Bhawan. Along with this new lieutenant Rahul also has an important aide Mistry (party general secretary and in charge of Uttar Pradesh) who works from 24 Akbar Road, the Congress head quarter. 

Rahul has been giving more importance to his new team instead to old team which is close to Congress president Sonia Gandhi. This new team of Rahul is curtailing the wings of old generation’s leaders. However Jiaram Ramesh and Digvijay Singh are being still treated with responsibilities. This could be gauge by the fact that these dues are choosing the slogans of Congress posters.

Today Times of India has summed up sessions of last five years of fifteenth lok sabha  in one line “ LOST SABHA: ALL DIN, LITTLE DONE”  This one line is sufficient to paint what types of commotion, ruckus, uproar, acquisition, allegation and counter allegation witnessed the current lok sabha during its tenure since 2009. Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi had attended only 42 percent of lok sabha sittings 5 percent less than his mother Sonia Gandhi who attended 47 percent of sittings. On the other side BJP veteran L K Advani, to whom Basudev Acharya rightly called yesterday as father of lok sabha, attended 96 percent of sittings along with leader of opposition Sushma Swaraj who also attended 94 percent of sittings. This shows the seriousness of leadership of ruling and principal opposition parties.  

In my last writing I had narrated how Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi was distributing chewing gum to his fellow young MPs when house was discussing crucial Telangana bill amid ruckus and slogan shouting by acrimonious MPs. This shows the apathy and disrespect of Rahul Gandhi towards the parliament and its practices by virtue of which he has been enjoying the privileges of VVIP culture. UPA government in its second innings was marked by mega scam, so commotion and slogan shouting by opposition benches is logical but raising slogans against its own party by MPs of ruling party is bizarre.

Sessions of fifteenth lok sabha were unique in many ways. First time a pepper spray was used to show anger against party leader by a rich and affluent MP from Seemandhra region. 79 percent of scheduled time lost in lok sabha due to disruptions by MPs. First time a black out in lok sabha TV was ordered to withheld the scenes of ruckus and hooliganism from the preview of commoners. That too when government of the day claims to have opened the door of information related to its activities. Similarly 73 percent of scheduled time was lost in elder’s house. Out going speaker Meira Kumar had given much emphasis to run the question hour in lok sabha but to her dismay only 11 percent of scheduled time for question hour was used. Further analysis of working of people house would bring more shady and black results. I’m sure, no honest and country loving member would love to remember this session of lok sabha.

Annoyed and confused Congress may use ordinance route to fulfill Rahul Gandhi wish. He had pushed for seven anti corruption bill which were pending in parliament recently to tackle challenges posed by Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party. Seeing the failure of social sector scheme in recently held assembly elections planners of Congress have changed strategy to fight coming lok sabha election. Crusade against corruption is the new mantra for Congress candidates.

COMMOTION IN LS

Last few days of Lok sabha were very stormy. Every party and its members want to score few goals to show their voters to get their votes again to reelect. It is in particular true for Members of Congress who come from Seemandhra region of Andhra Pradesh. Their political future is in doldrums. Many political pundits have predicted their chances of reelection almost nil. Such predictions have forced them to defy every parliamentary tradition and to trash decorum of party in Lok sabha. Telangana bill has evaporated the fear of AALAKAMAN from the minds of MPs of Seemandhra region. They dared to challenge the power of Prime Minister and even to mother- son duo Sonia and Rahul. Despite clear intimidation and candid instructions all the Cabinet ministers and members of Congress party came in well to register their protest against the bill. Their body language showed their dejection and frustration. The emotion ran so high in them that even a shouting MP refused to budge cabinet minister’s request to come back from well.

MPs from other parties from the region had also shown similar sentiments before got suspension in the house. The morally low lot of MPs wants to show their voters about their concerns by practicing unparliamentarily things in the house. They want attention of cameraman so that their activities some how reach to their constituencies.

On the other hand BJP MPs are being seen as most disciplined lot in the running budget session. Their role of opposing the activities of government is being taken by the members of ruling party itself. I barely had seen any protest activity by members of BJP on act of government in the last week of session. To many it might be seen as a surprising thing but to me it shows their confidence which has built up over the days by the pre election surveys done by different news agencies in the past six months. It also comes out in the statements of leadership of BJP many of whom openly say about forming of next government in sixteenth lok sabha under the hegemony of Narendra Modi. Many leader of BJP have started talk arrogantly as if they are already in power.

Congress MPs on the other hand are being seen as a lot which is going to loss its position of privilege.  Many political pundits see it a bad omen for a party which has ruled the country over five decades. Apathy of Congress leadership with party affairs is high. During the whole drama of passing the Telangana amendment bill in lok sabha Congress vice president was seen busy talking with few young MPs and distributing chewing gum to them. This shows the height of hallucination in which a party is living just before less than hundred days of next lok sabha election.

Please learn to give respect to opponents also

Despite all fiasco of 49 days long AAP government I still like the logics and passions for corruption free India of Arvind Kejriwal. But I don’t like his way of addressing the opponents. His style of jargon hurts the inner heart and hits deep inside the mind.

It is a proven fact that Kejriwal’s opponents are not ordinary citizen of streets (and even if they are ordinary citizens of pavement then in that case also no one has right to insult by calling them in uncivilized manner). They are reputed persons of their fields. Be it politics or business world, it requires a lot of hard labor and time to achieve a certain level of status by virtue of which these people attracts respects from society.

Unless and until courts of law give its verdict on matters of corruption one could not be treated as criminal and wrong doers. It is well established principle of constitution of India. No one could decide the criminality and punishment of an individual by oneself. There is a set procedure laid down in constitution for this purpose.

It gives me a lot of pain and agony when I hear unsolicited language of Kejriwal against big shots of major political parties or against business tycoon. May be it is because of culture in which I was born and bought up. Yes it is true that some time Kejriwal had called his opponents by giving respects also, but often he called opponents in insulting way.

I also understand the compulsion and logic behind his harsh language for opponents. By using unwarranted words for his opponents he actually tries to associate with the lower segment of society. There is always an antipathy for affluent class in downtrodden segment of society for whom Kejriwal is still a champion and hero. This section never dare to use abusive words for well to do segment. They always live in fear with this section. By barbing against so called corrupts Kejriwal connects to feelings with the poor who thinks that his share of developments were hampered by loots of top leaders of politics and business.

I also know that newbie and fledgling AAP is now in politics to grab the hot seat of power. And in politics and war every thing is fair to show opponents down in eyes of voters. It is not only Kejriwal who is using this tactics to score good marks in the eyes of voters but other leaders of other parties are also using to brand sham to opponents which include Kejriwal and his party AAP. ‘When election battle is around it is pertinent to use abusive, lethal and blunt jargon is compulsion’ feel some pollsters. To some extent I agree with this thought but this principal applies to cheap politicians not to Arvind Kejriwal’s brand politician who could dare to sacrifice the chair of Chief Minister. At least I expect some decency from him in his colloquial language. 

SP base is shrinking in its bastion

Samajwadi Party and its supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's (MSY) base is depleting in Uttar Pradesh. At least my talks with many people in Allahabad, Lucknow and Kanpur conclude this result.

To understand cast and religious equations of state it is better to fathom the ground equation properly. MSY or say his party (SP) has a strong hold on Yadavs and Muslims. SP always gets a major portion of votes of these two segments of state's society. Whenever party gets major vote shares of Kurmi, Koiri, Kushwaha, Rajbhar, and Patels along with Yadavs and Muslims in election it gets hold on assembly in Lucknow and good seats in Loksaabha. Because of supports of these casts and religious segment MSY had made his position strong in Loksabha and got ruling positions in Lucknow in the last assembly election held in state. But this time this story is not going to repeat in favour of SP especially in coming Loksabha election.

To my surprise even Yadav’s vote has got divided in states. Young generations of yadav clan are not happy in the way they get preferences and treatments over Muslim communities from Akhilesh government this time. All freebies distributed by present state government have been diverted towards Muslims. In the run up of coming Loksabha election it is a very natural process. Every party is using all gimmicks to woo Muslims. SP is not doing it alone. But this partiality is hurting to younger generation of Yadava cast who whole heartedly worked in the last assembly election to make sure Akhilesh government in Lucknow by dethroning garden and museum queen Mayawati’s BSP. Surprisingly this Yadava’s lot is considering voting Modi this time in Loksabha election to teach a hard lesson to SP government.

Yes it is true, older generation is still favouring to MSY. It is not because they still have faith left in MSY hegemony but because of no other options in hand. Like their younger generation they also want to elect Modi. But because of accessibility to first family of SP they want to remain faithful to SP in coming Loksabha election. Accessibility to Modi and top hierarchy of BJP would be not as easier as they have in present SP government feel older generation of Yadava.

To make heftier dent in prospects of SP and MSY in coming election some more cast have decided to use their votes in favour of Modi this time. Kurmi, Koiry, Kushwaha, Rajbhar, and Patels are among those backward casts who had swear last time to Akhilesh to remain faithful to SP. Many of whom I met candidly accepted to give chance to Modi this time belongs to these casts.

Traditional upper cast voters who had drifted towards SP and BSP in the past have shown inclination towards Modi this time. This section of society has once again reposed faith in BJP after a long gap. A large section of Brahmins, Rajputs and Kayastha communities are vociferously chanting Namo mantra. They all are saying give at least one chance to Modi to see his claims in reality on ground.

Even Muslims are divided to vote MSY’s party to centre. Many of Muslim community members I interacted had favoured BSP not SP. This section was in fidgety by the horrible reporting of Muzffarnagar riots. If number of this rattled section of Muslim community gets increase in coming week then result of coming election would certainly be sad for SP

Why Congress is so scared of Modi?

In an article “Why Kejriwal should understand that it pays to be patient” M J AKBAR writes ‘Congress is not worried about being replaced by BJP, it gets antsy only at the prospect of Modi as PM’. Article had appeared in SUNDAY TIMES. I totally support view of Mr. Akbar. Congress has accepted defeat in the coming general election. Problem is only Narendra Modi. If BJP comes in power he will be India’s next Prime Minister and Congress does not want it.

 Any one other than Modi is acceptable to Congress. But the question is why? Is Congress worried by seeing the fate of its Gujarat unit which has been out of power in state for almost 12 years despite making all type of allegations against Chief Minister? Or party is scary of his organizational capabilities which have forced all national leaders of BJP to beeline behind him. There are other reasons also for Congress to worry with the presence of Modi.

Not only leaders but even big barons of business houses have lend their support behind Modi. The charming and magnetic persona of Mr. Modi has attracted younger generation of present India by discarding the youth icon of Congress Mr. Rahul Gandhi. Ironically Modi at the age of 60 plus has been attracting a large section of India while Rahul who is much younger than Modi has been sidelined by generation of his age.

For instance in recent interview in an English news channel Rahul had given new ammunition to opposition. BJP and Shiromani Akali Dal took no time to rebut the claim of Congress Vice President on then Congress government for its role in handling the 1984 riots. The bruise is so grave that even after two days o f interview Congress spokespersons are being forced to give answers on role of party in 1984 riots after the gruesome murder of Mrs. Indira Gandhi. Once again marks of 1984 riots in hearts of Sikh family got new life.

Although some analysts believe that Congress is now a sinking ship. More and more allies are drifting from party or busy in finding reasons to part its way from big brother of UPA. I also find logic in this argument. Just see how Praful Patel has punctured the main plank of attacking Modi. Congress plans its entire stratagem to trap Modi some how. But all its efforts have gone in vein and Gujarat Chief Minister emerges out stronger than before. To me People now want a change at centre. Congress is no where in scene. Fight, if any persist then it is between BJP and regional satraps. AAP is also a regional party which has a strong hold in Delhi and Haryana. SP, BSP, BJD, AIDMK, YSR Congress, TMC, NCP and NC have their strong bastions to challenge Modi prime ministerial aspiration.

After getting good responses from his Interview published in one of leading Hindi daily Congress vice president will now take questions of leading anchor one on one on TV interview. More open ‘awtar’ of Rahul has come forth after he openly accepted fiasco in marketing of good policy of government. In last week concluded Aicc session Rahul had made strong comments on marketing strategy of the party. He in fact candidly accepted the failure of marketing plan of party against the BJP and AAP.

Many of my friends feel present panel of spokespersons has completely become dysfunctional. Barring little none of spokespersons of panel have left any impact on media. Lack of knowledge of the party and government’s affairs and command on Hindi and English language make them obsolete. Once I had also faced an odd situation when one of spokesperson briefed me wrongly about the agenda of Cabinet discussion. I was forced to correct my copy of news telephonic.

In its attempts to reach voters more eloquently party has brought many old and new faces in list of spokespersons. How far these people would be able to complete the task entrusted to them is doubtful. Ten years of absolute power have made their tong arrogant and mind scornful. Many of these panelists have prejudiced against regional media. They only love to talk only those journalists who write to language of elites.

National meet of AAP ends with new resolution

In the run up of 2014 election  it were not only  BJP and Congress alone who organized their National Meets in Delhi to canalize energy of their cadres but AAP ( Aam Aadmi Party) also conducted its two days National Meet near Rail Bhawan. Though it was not as pompous and gala as were those of Congress and BJP yet it energized AAP cadres as high as that of BJP. Many critics along wiht few tv channels have slam AAP for holding agitation at the time when national celebration of 26^th January is only four days ahead. However at the same time many supporters of AAP also called this whole cabinet agitation at Rail Bhawan crossing as master stroke on political class.

Every party which is serious in fighting the coming Lok Shabha (LS) election is trying every effort and gimmicks to gain maximum number of seats in LS. BJP is in hurry to re hold the reign of power at centre after spending ten years of banishment so is Congress to hold it in sixteenth Lok Shabha also. After stunning entry in the Delhi election and after the forming the government at Delhi its ambition has emerged out larger than the party it self. BJP has been in quandary as AAP has stole media focus and importance from its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. And Congress is in pressure to choose right tactice and approach to deal with AAP. Its vice president first said to learn the AAP way to approach the voter and then in AICC session call AAP as a good marketer which could sell hair cutting style to bald people. In its utter confuse state Congress is not in position to decide the right strategy to retain at least more than 100 seats to save its reputation in the eyes of loyal voters who don’t know any thing beyond Gandhi Nehru family.

It is true that agitation of AAP has caused great difficulty to commoners who have nothing to do either with AAP and or with BJP and Congress. He is a normal man who works in various government ministries and departments situated in near by buildings. As the national meet of AAP was against the Delhi Police and its highly placed officials so men in ‘Khaki’ were also hostile with supporters of AAP. Merciless beating of supporters and Journalist near agitation place justifies my presumption. But I find reasons in the logic of Chief Minister of Delhi to believe. Metro and bus services where governed by law and order which in turned is governed by Home Minister Susile Kumar Sinde.

BJP is right when it blames AAP and Congress both for anarchic situations which engulf whole of Central Delhi. If Congress would have announced the forced leave of two station house officers (SHO) yesterday itself or say on Sunday then this suffering of Aam Admi would never be come in realty.  I also find solid logic in arguments of supporters of AAP who see just concluded agitation as a right step towards awakening of zeal of supporters of party for LS poll. I think Arvind Kejriwal has once again aroused enthusiasm of rank and file of party. A thing which BJP and Congress have done by spending lacs of rupees Chief Minister of Delhi has done by simply sleeping on Pedestrian path of Lutyans Delhi.

BJP and its Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is pushing Chaiwallah (tea seller) slogan to engross not only opponents but also the lowest section of society. 

Chaiwallah symbolizes poor man, hawkers and small shop owners of society who have felt their presence from small market of remotest villages to big markets of cities and metropolitan. With industrialists and big business houses in their side Modi and BJP need support of lower segment of society. Inflation, corruption and scams have already tilted middle class towards saffron party. Recent drubbing of Congress and other opposition parties in Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgargh and Rajasthan have shown this trend loudly and clearly.

By calling himself Chaiwallah Modi tries to connect himself with millions of street vendors who some how run their families and have aspirations and dreams for better life not only for him self but also for his immediate and extended families. Chaiwallah de facto connotes common man who lives most of his life in perusing dreams and fulfilling small needs of his offspring and wife. It seems Modi and BJP have established a one to one relationship with members of small business class segment regardless of their caste, creeds and religion. Remember it was the common men who had favoured Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi which has disturbed the power equations of BJP in Delhi despite being winner in three states. That is why Modi never reacted with strong riposte for Chaiwallah jibe. If any retort for chaiwallah remark had come then it was from other senior leaders of BJP not from Modi himself. Gujarat Chief Minister always used this as eminence to which other leaders of opposition boasted as stigma rather than as quality.

BJP in fact has planned to ignite more aggressively this feeling and image of Chaiwallah to next level. Many meetings and Nukkad Nataks on chaiwallah’s theme have been planned across the India in which party leaders and its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will participate to spread image and feeling associated with tea seller. Congress also understands the analogy between chaiwallah and lower middle class. Because of this reason spokesperson of party disassociated the Congress with remarks of Mani Shankar Aiyar and condemned SP leader Naresh Agarwal for making tea seller remarks in the past.

I think Modi and his team has deliberately chosen this initial profession of his life to tell rise of journey. They want to show masses and audience about his progress from lowest base of pyramid of society to  showcase this quality along with his decisive and quick ability to solve developmental issues. In his speech of BJP’s National Council meet he again rakes Congress with his Chaiwallah ammunition. In normal circumstances a person who is also prime ministerial candidate of national party this pity profession of tea selling would never be highlighted as prominently as is done by Modi. But Gujarat Chief Minister has aptly used this profession to send a positive massage in hoi polloi.

This is not an assurance of Rahul Gandhi to his mom Sonia. It is a new buzz which is being talked on the streets of Lutyens Delhi. Here Maa does not connote the usual Mother words of English but it stands for Modi, Ambani (Mukesh) and Adani. Power brokers of Delhi have opined several times to my fraternity about this combination of trio who shall come to Raisina hills this summer to sing their songs for general public. Association of Ambani(Mukesh bhai) and Adani with Modi is well known to political as well as to corporate world. Combination has been ruling the Gujarat for the last 11 years with their mutual gain. It could be seen in the charges and accusations which are being hurled by opposition Congress and newbie Aam Aadmi party.

Political acumen along with muscle power of committed cadres of RSS and BJP backed by pecuniary strength of 2As will swing the general election in favour of BJP feel some power agents of present Congress regime. Modi and his Ahmedabad based team have prepared a new blueprint of strategy to grapple AAP along with Congress. They see AAP as a cabal by Congress to stop BJP led by Modi to host its lotus flag on top of Raisina hills. Already BJP has come in attacking mode against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his team and it is going to be more bitter in future. The fractions and contradictions which are coming out from fledgling AAP will give more opportune time to BJP and Congress to assault on AAP. Ironically it was BJP which initially nurtured the Anna Hazare led Lokpal movement to dethrone Congress led UPA-2 from Delhi.

Indeed the nation has been witnessing the wave of Modi through rallies across the states since his anointment as prime ministerial candidate. It is swiping so far Rahul,a supposed mascot for Congress is concerned. Although AAP has given some jolts to Modi wave after forming its government in Delhi but how far influence of AAP will go to dent Modi and BJP is yet to be seen.

On the other hand the grand old party of nation is struggling with its own men and conceptions. Contradictions are coming out as party has divided on Rahul stature. A section of Congress is making brouhaha to announce the name of Gandhi scion as prime ministerial candidate. To pave  way present incumbent of PM’s chair had already announced about his retirement plan well in advance. In one of my blog I already have expressed my views on this topic in length.

I support the other section of party which is advocating for ‘no announcement’ at this moment of time. In my view this might be harmful for future of Gandhi-Nehru scion. If Congress makes a way to win the election under the Rahul despite all odds and predictions by political analyst then also the prime contender of Prime Ministerial post shall be Rahul. On the same time if predictions and odd come true then his future will also become nebulous.
